ALCOS Cut to Length Lines provide a
fast, efficient means of creating precision levelled blanks from
coil. Our lines can be customized to suit a client’s plant
layout.
Lines can be
supplied to process material up to 72 ins. wide, .500 ins. thick
and 80,000 lbs. coil weight. In line crop shearing and auto scrap
disposal system ensures that over gauge strip does not pass through
the leveller.
Our in line
levelers can produce panel flat material and are provided in 4HI,
5HI, 6HI configurations for surface critical material. Operator
friendly controls are provided with remote pc based touch screen systems and
auto memory systems.
Flatteners can also
be provided to supplement the in line leveller or as a stand-alone
process for heavier materials.
“Back to Back”
levelers can also be provided to ensure panel flat quality through
a wider material range.
Edge trimming can
be done with the use of our many slitters or an edge trimming system
can also be incorporated into the line. Slitters are
provided with ALCOS composite tooling or shimless tooling to provide precise slit edges.
Edge scrap
systems can be baller, winder, or chopper,
depending upon customers preference.
Roll feed surface finish ensures non-marking of the process material surface. ALCOS high speed shears are included in the line and are equipped with a convenient “one point” blade adjustment or Automatic gap adjustment, to enable easy set up from various gauge of material. Centralised lubrication systems are provided, and a high speed disc type clutch and brake and solid state control ensures accurate shear timing.
ALCOS cut to length lines are engineered and constructed to meet specific end user needs for precision, production requirements and material parameters.
Types of lines are; Stop/Start; Flying Die; and Precision Roll Feed lines and continuous with a Rotary Shear.
